More information about the Company’s personal data protection can be found in the privacy policy published [here].
What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files stored on your device through the internet browser you use. Without these files, using the Website would be more complicated and less user-friendly. Cookies allow the website you visit to remember settings related to that site (e.g., selected language, login information, or preferred preferences). When you return to the site, the browser sends back the identifiers associated with that site, preserving your settings. Cookies thus make repeated visits to websites more user-friendly. Consent to the use of cookies is granted for 12 months. If you wish to continue using cookies, consent must be renewed after this period.
Types of Cookies
Cookies are categorized by their duration, necessity, and the entity placing them on your device.
By duration:
- Session cookies – deleted automatically after closing the browser. These are essential for the proper functioning of the website.
- Persistent cookies – remain stored for a longer period depending on your browser settings. You can manually delete them at any time. These help with easier navigation on the website.
By necessity:
- Essential cookies – necessary for the website to function, e.g., maintaining shopping cart content or remembering cookie consent.
- Other cookies – used for facilitating information transfer, measuring traffic, or analyzing user behavior. These include:
- Marketing cookies – used for better ad targeting and personalization.
- Statistical cookies – track user interactions and provide data on visitor numbers, time spent, etc.
- Performance cookies – help understand and analyze key performance indicators to improve user experience.
By origin:
- First-party cookies – created by the website operator, usually for basic website functions.
- Third-party cookies – created by entities other than the website operator, often for advertising or analytics.
Why do we use cookies?
The Company uses cookies when you visit our Website primarily for:
- Website security – cookies help verify users and prevent fraud.
- Analyzing user behavior to improve layout, functionality, and overall website experience.
Third-party Cookies
Our Website also uses cookies from our partners. These are managed by third parties, and the Company cannot access or modify this data. These include advertising systems and traffic analysis tools.
Cookies used by these partners include:
- Google Analytics – a tool for tracking user behavior, improving layout, functionality, and content optimization. Also used for profiling and personalized advertising.
- Google Universal Analytics – an upgraded version of Google Analytics with enhanced features, using cookies to distinguish unique users via a randomly generated Client ID.
- Meta (formerly Facebook) – used for managing advertising products, including real-time targeted ads, tracking user behavior across websites and apps to improve ad relevance and effectiveness.
- Cookies and Content Security Policy – used to operate the cookie banner.
How to Adjust Cookie Settings
Due to legal changes, websites can no longer use cookies without your active consent. The model has shifted from opt-out (consent presumed) to opt-in (active consent required). This does not apply to essential cookies, which still operate on an opt-out basis and can be disabled in your browser settings. As mentioned above, consent is granted for 6 months, after which the Website will prompt you again.
To obtain consent, a cookie banner is used. This banner has two layers:
- The first layer allows you to accept all cookies, reject all opt-in cookies, close the banner, or access settings.
- The second layer allows you to manage consent for individual cookie types.
In the second layer of the cookie banner, you will find a link to these Cookie Policy for the collection of personal data. Below is a list of cookies used by websites, divided by type of cookies, along with their description. Next to the names of the cookie types, you will find a switch that is set by default to not agree to the use of the specified type. If you want to allow websites to use a certain type of cookie, you need to click on the switch and actively give your consent.
You can change your decision at any time while using the website by clicking on the box located on the edge of the screen and this will bring up the cookie banner again and you will be able to decide again which type of cookie you will or will not express your consent to. This consent/disagreement will again be valid for 6 months.
We hereby inform you that not granting consent to the use of a certain type of cookie may result in a deterioration in the user quality of the website and limit the ability to use the services that our website provides. These are functions related to certain types of cookies, which are described above. You can change whether or not to grant consent in your browser settings.
If you block the ability to collect and store cookies in your browser, we will no longer process any of your network identifiers or other information that can be obtained through cookies.
Detailed information on the settings for storing cookies in your browser can be found on the websites of specific browser providers.
